Bombardier

The Challenge

When a media kit includes hundreds of air-to-air shots of multimillion dollar luxury airplanes, a major brand redesign faces a unique hurdle. Bombardier had no way to replace a library of that size with actual air-to-air footage in time for a launch that would require countless images and video of the brand in use.

Bombardier had no way to replace a library of that size with actual air-to-air footage in time for a launch that would require countless images and video of the brand in use.

The Solution

Again working with the creative team at Beauvoir, I developed a pipeline to remove the existing airplanes from the original air-to-air shots and replace them with animated 3D versions which had the rebranded livery. With over 70 new shots delivered, these will serve Bombardier well as they rebuild their air-to-air library.

Additional Work

Aside from re-creating air-to-air shots, I was tasked with developing motion graphics and 3D shots for a variety of different projects. From demonstrating security technology to luxury new features to creating entirely CG shots to bring the Ecojet to life, motion and 3D was a key part of the Bombardier x Beauvoir pipeline.
